August 13 No Sydney CRM User Group meeting in AugustJust to inform everyone that there will not be a CRM User Group meeting this month, owing to the clash with TechEd. I will be at TechED and presenting a couple of sessions so if you are planning on attending, then please make a point of saying HI. July 25 Microsoft CRM/xRM UG Meeting - Tuesday 27th JulyThe User Group meeting is next Tuesday – commencing at 6pm at the Microsoft office in North Ryde. In addition to general News, Announcements and Product updates, the major topics for the evening will be: - CRM news and announcements following the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) - CRM 2011 Beta program and availability (yes - the codename of CRM5 has now been dropped) - Upcoming events where CRM2011 will be showcased - Taking the covers off CRM 2011 (replay of presentation from WPC) Look forward to seeing you.

July 19 CRM Online coming to Australia – finally……Last week at the annual Worldwide Partner Conference Microsoft revealed the official name of the next release of Dynamics CRM; following the footsteps of the other Dynamics products, CRM will contain the ‘Year’ as part of the product release name, being “CRM 2011”. The theme for CRM 2011 will be the ‘Power of Productivity” delivered through familiar, intelligent and connected experiences for people inside and outside an organisation. Microsoft also confirmed that their own branded version of hosted CRM (known as CRMONLINE) will also be available later on this year – along with a host of new features – read the full announcement. For those keen to get their hands dirty and have a play with the new version, Microsoft have for the first time announced a public beta availability of CRM 2011, scheduled to be available in September 2010.
